Inactivity + SOH News

I just haven't been drawing much and since my/my sister's camera broke back in August I haven't been able to take any photos -- and most of my writing... Well, I wouldn't post it here since it's usually silly roleplay related stories and terrible, terrible freaking poetry.  Another reason I haven't been posting much is simply that I've been busy (mostly with sewing) and dA doesn't hold as much interest to me as it used to -- I've actually become quite addicted to tumblr (Which seems to happen to almost everyone who joins it...) and I post a lot of my crappy little doodles there so if you want to see most of my work, you can run over to my tumblr punkasaurusjess.tumblr.com since I post there a lot...

I'm not leaving dA, of course, in fact, I made this post to say I intend to become more active in the near future though I likely won't be posting as many drawings (save for fashion designs) why? Well, partially because I feel like I've lost a lot of my passion for drawing -- I just don't enjoy it as much as I used to. It may be that I'm in the middle of an artist's block so that might change in the future. I really do hope to start sharing my sewing/crafting projects as soon as I get a camera, though. And with that camera will come much, much more photography. Hopefully, I can get a hold of one before all the fall colors are gone!

As for Sword of Heaven, I'm not abandoning it, not by any means but for the time being, I'm going to be taking a break from it (I can hear you now "Isn't that what you've been doing lately???" and to that I say "shush!" lol). I simply do not have the drive to draw comic pages, not in the least and it's better (I think) to go without updating than to force myself to draw and produce substandard (or at least, what I consider substandard) pages since when I don't feel much like drawing, I tend not to put as much work/detail into the drawings... This isn't quite the same as my other "breaks" from SOH (which were usually because, admittedly, I was feeling lazy or had hit a page I was having trouble drawing or run out of supplies , like paper or pencil leads) I'm taking this break because I'm not feeling the passion to work that I used to/usually do... Hopefully, even if my general inspiration doesn't come back, I can get the drive to work on SOH again... Additionally, I have hit a plot snag that I feel the need to work out before continuing (as in: I haven't scripted chapter five and I'm almost finished with chapter four -- as well as some general kinks that need to be worked out.).

So, that's pretty much everything.
I should be updating more here on dA soon -- you'll likely be bombarded with loli fashion designs and silly little sketches of birdcages and such things... Once I get a camera, be on the look-out for posts of the different crafts I've been working on lately (such as a Lolita skirt, a multitude of bows, some bloomers and a little bag or two).

Hope everyone has been having a wonderful time lately, sorry I've been so inactive!
